Every song on 'Sol Nox' is worth being chosen as a favourite. On top of that the album is way more evil and aggressive than 'Thaumiel' and such circles back to the earlier days of Ofermod. But with a modern edge and a first class production to it. I love Ofermod in general and 'Sol Nox' in particular. Exceptionally well done!

The beginning of a seamless, near perfect discography that captures a dynamic contrast of melody and brutality, savagery and contemplation. In less than two years we have three amazing albums from this artist, and I look forward to what’s next. This album has the brutal percussion that also shows up on Esoctrilihum’s second release, but is scaled down a bit on the new album. I’m partial to the heavier drums for sure.
